CIAO SIENA!
After visiting Siena Cathedral and Piazza del Campo, We just strolled through quiet streets. Found some beautiful houses and ate Panforte, traditional dessert in Siena. We met street art and enjoyed music from street musicians. And we hurried to train station to not to miss the last train. Arrivederci Siena!

PIAZZA DEL CAMPO
Piazza del Campo! It’s the public square in Siena. This square is special because it’s on a slight slope. Palio di Siena, a horse race is held twice each year around the edges of this square.
We had pici pasta, local special food as a lunch in Piazza del Campo. This pasta is thick like fat spaghetti. It’s very fun to chew it.

SIENA CATHEDRAL
MAMBO
MAMbo! MAMbo! It’s such a cute name! We went to MAMbo, Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna. There was American artist, Nick Van Woert exhibition. It presents Van Nick’s 33 works. It was very first time to see his works. So as soon as I saw his works, I thought this was exhibition from many artists. Because it presents a variety of his works. I was so ridiculous!
There is Italian painter, Giorgio Morandi Museum in MAMbo. He is famous for still life. They have his significant works. It’s good to visit there. It’s not allowed to take a picture. So I have nothing to show you.

APERITIVO
After visiting MAMbo(Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna), we had aperitif time at MAMBO. The buffet is for free, if you pay for a drink. I had a spritz(wine-based cocktail) and my mom ordered a water. So she paid only 1 euro for water and buffet. 😀 They offered cold pasta, salad, cous cous… It seems like every stylish Bolognese come to have aperitif at MAMbo.

SAN LUCA
We went to Bologna just for one day. It was raining when we arrived from Florence. But we didn’t need umbrella, because we walked along a roofed arcade to go to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. This arcade, Portico di San Luca consist consists 666 arches. There were some people were jogging. But it was bit hard for me to climb to the top. I’ll take a cab to climb up and go down by walk for the next time. Take drinks with you, if you have a plan to go by walk.

BEAUTIFUL ASSISI
The weather was perfect in Assisi! We went to Assisi from Florence for one day trip. It took about 2 hours by train. After visiting the Basilica of San Francesco, we just strolled in the town. There were many cute shops and cafes. And Flower was everywhere in Assisi.
We entered a clothing shop, Margherita on Corso Mazzini by accident. OMG! I founded clothes of Italian brand Vivetta there. It was cheaper than in other shops. The owner is mother of designer Vivetta. I bought a signature finger nail shirt and a pink dress. So lucky!
