This Pitti Palace is the largest museum in Florence. It was residence of a banker, Luca Pitti from 1458. The Medici family bought this palace in 1549. And there is a beautiful garden “Boboli” in the palace. I’ll update soon.
Gelato, the best way to close the day!
OMG! 463 narrow steps to climb to the Cupola! It was raining when we reached to the top. It was similar and different view from the top of the Bell Tower. And our outfits are similar and different also. 😀
MERCI! It’s must know French word when you travel in France. This Parisian concept store is created by founders of Bonpoint. They brought together the best of fashion, design, and household items in the Haut-Marais district. The red vintage car, Merci‘s mascot is parked at the courtyard. Can’t pass without taking pictures. 😀
I dropped by kid store, Bonton. There are many cute clothes and kids party stuffs. I bought some paper envelops and plates for picnic.
GRAZIE! It’s must know Italian word when you travel in Italy. It means “Thanks” like Merci. This is an italian restaurant near by Merci. They offer yummy rustic-style pizzas and delicious cocktails. The whole atmosphere is in dark. Even toilet paper is also in black. 😀 Booking is essential to get a table.
This boulevard Beaumaarchais will be full of “Thanks” shops and restaurant in many other languages, I guess.
Anyway, waiting a bus to move to Seine river. See you on Seine!
I went to Japanese artist, Kusama Yayoi exhibition at Hangaram Gallery. She is famous for dot repetition. She collaborated on a collection with Louis Vuitton in 2012. Most of her works is in psychedelic colors, repetition and pattern. It was fun to participate in her installation with four different dot stickers.
I went to showcase of fashion brand YESIMFRENCH F/W 2014. The designer Sandra Meynier Kang is french but lives in Seoul. So this collection is inspired from Paris-Seoul(Paris to Seoul, vice versa). I love short jackets and metallic clutches. Especially, Marble print idea is awesome. Marble is not only for floor and table any more, we can also wear it from this fall! And I had a chance to take picture with Brad, drummer of indie band Busker Busker.
