This Pitti Palace is the largest museum in Florence. It was residence of a banker, Luca Pitti from 1458. The Medici family bought this palace in 1549. And there is a beautiful garden “Boboli” in the palace. I’ll update soon.
Gelato, the best way to close the day!

VIEW FROM PITTI
We went to the Museum of Modern Art in Palazzo Pitti. I took pictures of view from window again like in the Uffizi Gallery. It’s more beautiful than paintings in the museum.

SANTA MARIA NOVELLA
We went Basilica of Santa Maria Novella. This Basilica is principal Dominican church in Florence. Frescoes by masters of Gothic and early Renaissance are famous. Reflection of colorful stained glasses on the floor was awesome.
And we went to the oldest pharmacies Santa Maria Novella in Florence. Wow! It was opened in 1612. This house is really huge and smells good. You can get what you want because shopping lists in many languages were displayed.

BELLA FIRENZE
We had a real italian lunch at Il Francescano where our Italian house owner recommended. Two thumbs up! It was really delicious. After having gelato at cute gelateria, we walked along the river Arno, accros the Ponte Vecchio and back to the Basilica Santa Croce again where our accommodation located. Florence is so beautiful!

SCUOLA DEL CUOIO
Visited leather school, the Scuola del Cuoio. It’s situated between many leather stores and just behind the Basilica Santa Croce. There are many tourists to buy leather stuffs for souvenir. You can escape from this huge crowd as soon as you enter the main gate of this school. It’s very calm and there is a beautiful backyard. And many leather bags and stuffs were displayed in the school. I bought some leather bracelets for my friends and reserved one-day course. So excited! Will update my first leather bag making performance soon. 😀
